Measure the head to obtain a guide as to the size of hat or skull required. Measure just above the ears, around the fullest part at the back of the head and just over the eyebrows

Create a vacuum, a very snug fit. However, there should be no undue pressure at the temples in order to prevent headaches occurring. There may be space at the back of the hat/skull to insert the top of the index finger, but this is not always the case and is not as critical as the fit at the temple area. Finally, adjust the straps - the chin strap first and then the back strap.

They should feel comfortable to the wearer. These two fastenings ensure that the hat/skull you have fitted does not fall off and that it remains in the correct position whilst riding.
